First-person notes on product decisions, execution, and lessons from this project.

Goodstart Website is the institutional home of Goodstart language school, presenting the brand, its courses, teaching approach, content, events, and ways for prospective students to start a conversation.

It is the public and commercial layer of the Goodstart ecosystem. While Goodstart+ focuses on the learning experience, the institutional website supports discovery, trust, SEO, campaigns, partnerships, and acquisition.

What was built

The current website includes:

  • institutional and commercial pages for Goodstart’s courses and formats;
  • direct contact and WhatsApp conversion paths;
  • an MDX-powered blog and editorial pages;
  • event pages and campaign landing pages;
  • Web Stories designed for visual discovery;
  • lead-generation experiences such as downloadable materials;
  • certificate lookup with Firebase authentication;
  • Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel integration;
  • a structure that can continue expanding with new offers and content.

Role in the project

My work covers digital strategy, information architecture, UX, copywriting, SEO, frontend implementation, content structure, and the technical evolution of the website.

The project translates the school’s real commercial and educational needs into a coherent public experience. It needs to explain the offering clearly, support multiple campaigns and audiences, and remain fast and maintainable as content grows.

Product and technology decisions

The current foundation uses Astro 5, React 19, TypeScript, MDX, and Tailwind CSS. This combines fast static pages with interactive components and editorial content versioned in the repository.

Cloudflare supports deployment and infrastructure. Firebase powers authenticated functionality such as certificate lookup, while Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel support marketing measurement.

Result

The website is live at goodstart.com.br as Goodstart’s main institutional presence. It brings brand communication, courses, content, events, campaigns, and acquisition into an owned platform that can evolve alongside the school.
